Bach Collegium San Diego Presents “Salzburg Connections: Mozart & Michael Haydn”

Bach Collegium San Diego opens its 2026–27 season with a musical portrait of Salzburg’s sacred life, pairing Mozart’s radiant Vesperae solennes de confessore, K. 339—famed for the soaring “Laudate Dominum”—with Michael Haydn’s dramatic Requiem in C minor, composed for Archbishop Sigismund. Hear two master composers move from luminous evening prayer to the expressive gravity of a funeral mass.
