About Chartd

Chartd is a free app that puts local events on one live map — concerts, pop-ups, open mics, games and parties — with tickets for events hosted on Chartd and tools for anyone to host their own. It runs on iPhone and Android, and the live map and the city guides below work in any browser.

Not the Ottawa consultancy

Chartd, the events app at chartdapp.com, is not affiliated with the software and data consultancy of a similar name in Ottawa, Canada (gochartd.com).

Who runs Chartd

Chartd was founded in 2023 by Caleb Hartley and Cameron Brown.

Where Chartd works

The live map shows events across the United States. These city guides list what is on tonight, readable without the app: Charlotte, New York, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Denver, Dallas, Boston, Indianapolis, San Diego, Washington DC, Fort Worth, Phoenix, Miami.

How it works

  • Find something to do. Open the map, filter by category, and tap a pin for the time, place and price.
  • Get a ticket. Events hosted on Chartd sell tickets in the app and on the web. Buyers pay only the ticket price shown, with no fees added at checkout. How ticketing works.
  • Host your own. Anyone can post an event in the app for free. Chartd is the merchant of record for ticket sales and deducts its per-ticket fee and Stripe’s processing fee from the host’s payout; venues and regular hosts can choose a plan. Plans and pricing.
