Ceremony of Dharma Inquiry / Shuso Ceremony

Houston Zen Center hosts the Ceremony of Dharma Inquiry, also known as the Shuso Ceremony, a milestone in Zen Buddhist practice. The ceremony centers on the shuso, the practice period’s head student, and a formal exchange of questions and responses. Attendees can witness a traditional moment of inquiry, reflection, and community practice.
