Joe Bataan

Joe Bataan brings his unmistakable Latin soul to the Great Lawn at Yerba Buena Gardens for a free RSVP opening set. A legend since the mid-1960s, he helped shape the New York Latin boogaloo sound, blending Afro-Cuban rhythms, soul, and streetwise energy. A MeloDious Festival favorite, Bataan returns for his third Gardens performance in four years, setting a lively tone beneath the open sky.
