New York City Ballet: Jewels

New York City Ballet performs George Balanchine’s Jewels at the David H. Koch Theater. The three-part ballet moves from the lyrical Emeralds to the jazz-inflected Rubies and the grand Diamonds, with music by Fauré, Stravinsky, and Tchaikovsky. It’s a landmark work of Balanchine’s repertory.
