Joe Russo's Almost Dead

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead brings its inventive interpretations of the Grateful Dead to MGM Music Hall at Fenway. Led by drummer Joe Russo, the band combines the Dead’s psychedelic songbook with rock, jazz, and open-ended improvisation. Familiar favorites such as “Shakedown Street” and “Althea” leave room for adventurous live arrangements.
