Paul Austerlitz Band brings an adventurous blend of jazz, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and global musical traditions to Shrine. Led by saxophonist, composer, and ethnomusicologist Paul Austerlitz, the ensemble draws on deep research and vibrant live musicianship to create a sound that is both sophisticated and danceable. Expect an intimate Harlem set filled with infectious grooves, intricate improvisation, and cross-cultural energy.
