Cole Escola’s acclaimed dark comedy Oh, Mary! imagines Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks before her husband’s assassination. In a fast-paced one-act, the First Lady grapples with thwarted ambition, yearning, and alcoholism in a wildly irreverent take on a familiar historical figure. The touring production comes to the San Diego Civic Theatre.
