David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band celebrates the exuberance and improvisational spirit of early jazz. Led by tuba virtuoso David Ostwald, the ensemble features a rotating lineup of New York musicians performing music associated with Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington, and other jazz pioneers. The residency offers hot jazz, lively ensemble interplay, and an intimate club atmosphere.
