Patrick Shiroishi brings his searching, boundary-pushing saxophone work to Chicago’s Hungry Brain. Drawing on free jazz, improvisation, Japanese American history, and his experience as a multi-instrumentalist, Shiroishi creates music that can shift from meditative whispers to raw, volcanic intensity. Expect a deeply immersive night of spontaneous sound, emotional weight, and fearless experimentation.
