Larry Shue’s comedy The Nerd follows architect Willum Cubbert, who feels indebted to Rick Steadman for saving his life during the war. When Rick finally arrives for a visit, his baffling manners and disruptive behavior turn Willum’s gratitude into a comic dilemma.
