Tuba player David Ostwald leads his Louis Armstrong Eternity Band in a lively tribute to early jazz. The long-running Birdland residency draws on the music of Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington, and Jelly Roll Morton, performed by Ostwald and a rotating lineup of New York musicians. Expect spirited ensemble playing and classic hot-jazz sounds.
