Uncommon Ground hosts a lively weekly open mic competition spotlighting Chicago’s rising voices alongside independent artists from across the region and country. Singers, musicians, and performers take the stage for 5 to 15 minutes, bringing original songs, bold covers, and distinctive styles. Sign-up starts at 5:00 PM, setting the stage for an all-ages night of discovery, friendly rivalry, and spontaneous applause.
