Historic Brattonsville

🇺🇸 In honor of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, visit Historic Brattonsville to learn about the experiences of enslaved people of African descent during the war. 👉 During By the Sweat of Our Brows event, visitors will meet the descendants of the Bratton family, experience a “Look With Your Hands” tour of an 18th century home from the perspective of an enslaved woman named Polly, watch blacksmithing demonstrations and take part in hands-on activities like shelling corn, and more!
